Some of Nick’s fond memories, as mentioned in a 2003 letter to the church body, include: baptizing oldest son Ryan, packed pews during services, mopping up water in the basement before the drainage wall was built, listening to John Moore play the piano, money being stolen from the office while I was in the other room counseling, Fall Festival of Marriage conferences, forgetting my daughter Abby in the pew after a Wednesday evening service.
